Your phone stays the key.

The browser gets no key of its own and stores none. It displays what your phone decrypts — only for as long as the session lasts.

  1. Open HIY on your phone

    Profile, then "Sign in in browser." The app asks for your lock screen first.

  2. Scan the code

    Point your camera at the field on the right. The code is valid for three minutes, then you generate a new one.

  3. Confirm on your phone

    You see the browser, operating system, and approximate location before you approve. If something looks off, you cancel.

What the browser can do — and what it can't.

We tell you upfront, not in the fine print. The browser is a screen on loan, not a second account.

Why this separation? Your signing key sits in your phone's hardware security chip and can't be copied — not to us, not to here either. So the browser doesn't issue its own signatures: it passes them through, your phone signs. Lose the connection, and the session is dead. Close the tab, same thing. And on your phone, you can always see which browsers are open, and kick any of them out with one tap.
